Perhaps I am letting my guard down in saying this, but as bad as these assertions about deserts sound, I’m willing to concede they’re probably speaking metaphorically here. And yes, I know what I’ve said about the MTG Multiverse and metaphors and the benefit of the doubt. We have deserts here too though. And while I wouldn’t put it beyond them to have deserts that are literally voracious beasts, that’s not really my biggest concern here.
My biggest concern is that huge thing in the background. My money is on a literal voracious best that wants to devour my flesh. I might just take my chances with the desert.
